Honorary Life Membership – The GEDA Board of Directors voted to honor Ms. Willie Paulk with the designation of Honorary Life Membership in GEDA. Willie is a Rip Wiley Award recipient in 2004 and was Chair of GEDA in 2002. Chair Tim Evans surprised Willie with this news at Willie’s retirement celebration in Dublin on June 24th.
Mike Worley, GEDA Board Member and Retired Georgia Power Company executive, was recently named as the President and CEO of the Georgia Wildlife Federation.
Brittany Caison, Commercial/Industrial Engineer, Jackson EMC, graduated from the Georgia Academy Economic Development program on May 27th.

Dorie Bacon, Executive Director, Screven County Development Authority, Sylvania
Kenwin Hayes, Executive Director, Griffin Downtown Development Authority
Bruce Drennan, Executive Director of the Cordele Crisp IDC (Industrial Development Council) is retiring. For the past thirteen years, he has served as the Executive Director of the Cordele Crisp Industrial Development Council. Drennan has extensive federal and state lobbying experience in addition to over 20 years of senior level management. He is past president of the Cordele Rotary. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, his Masters in Business Management from Central Michigan University and is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management. In addition, he is a retired Naval Aviator, retiring at the rank of Commander.
